Preferred experience:

· Minimum of two years’ administrative experience

· Minimum of five years’ classroom teaching experience

·           Evaluation of staff using Marzano evaluation tool

Performance Responsibilities:

·           Provides instructional leadership for the educational program through

planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation

·           Utilizes a shared model of leadership, involving all shareholders in


· Casts a vision of academic success for all students

· Sets the school’s vision, goals and strategies, while supporting those

of the district

· Frequently communicates with students, teachers, parents and community

members using a variety of mediums including technology

·           Uses data to make decisions about curriculum, assessment, instruction

and all school improvement efforts

· Provides supervision of all building instructional and non-instructional


· Evaluates the effectiveness of both instructional and non-instructional

staff performance

· Reviews and evaluates building-level administrators

· Identifies annual school goals

·  Interviews and recommends employment of all school-based employees

·       Coordinates school-based new teacher induction and ongoing staff

development programs

·  Prepares and monitors the school budget

·         Provides a safe and secure environment for all students and staff

·           In coordination with local emergency services, plans and supervises

fire drills and emergency preparedness programs

·  Coordinates building level crisis plan

·         Plans, reviews, and approves professional growth plans for faculty, staff,

and administration

·  Evaluates and maintains the ordering of equipment necessary to carry out

both instructional and non-instructional daily activities

·  Oversees the building of the master schedule and staff observation


· Maintains student handbook and staff procedure manual

·  Responsible for monitoring and evaluating student attendance and


·         Supervises school activities and events

· Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

Anticipated Opening

Full Time Computer Technician

Starting July 12, 2017 

Applicant must possess:

At least two years’ experience in computer repair and/or maintenance in a Windows domain environment.  Good communication and problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and teachers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Provide hardware and software support to all schools on multiple platforms including desktop PCs, laptops, Chromebooks, Apple devices, and associated equipment/peripherals in a network environment.

·        Installing and upgrading desktop workstations


·        Repairing, testing, and maintaining computer systems

·        Repairing and replacing data connections

·        Running cable throughout the district

·        Troubleshooting problems on the network or devices

·        Servicing and assisting district students’/staffs’ Chromebooks

·        Maintaining domain accounts for staff and students

·        Other duties assigned by the technology coordinator

 Kindergarten Teacher Position

Part Time - No Benefits

Applicants for this position will work to create a student-centered environment that promotes learning and social growth; establish nurturing rapport with students; motivate students to develop good work habits, respectful attitudes, and the knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for becoming lifelong learners. Applicants will work hard to establish positive relationships with parents and staff members.

All applicants should have a good understanding of the CCSS and be able to provide whole and/or differentiated small group instruction designed to meet individual needs, learning styles of the students and integration of technology (smartboards, chromebooks, etc.) into the classroom.   Applicants must evaluate the academic growth of the students using data, keep appropriate records and communicate progress with parents through a variety of means. 

Applicants will be expected to collaborate with other staff members in assessing and helping pupils succeed. 

Applicants must also have knowledge of best classroom and co-teaching strategies. 

Applicants must possess:

Required:   NJ certification PK-3, K-5, K-6 or K-8
