Opening Week Information
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OPENING WEEK INFORMATION:
The Haddon Heights Elementary Schools will open on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Students in grades kindergarten through six may arrive between 8:30 - 8:40 a.m. Dismissal on September 7th will be 11:25 a.m. for kindergarten students and 12:45 p.m. for students in grades one through six. The same schedule will be followed for Thursday, September 8, 2016.
Regular school hours will resume on Friday, September 9th. Grades kindergarten through six may arrive between 8:30 - 8:40 a.m. Dismissal for kindergarten students is at 11:25 a.m. and dismissal for grades one through six is 3:00 p.m.
Early arrival will begin at all three elementary schools on Wednesday, September 7th, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $6.00 per student or $8.50 a family per day. The Y.M.C.A. program will begin on Wednesday, September 7th and Kindergarten Aftercare will begin on Monday, September 12th. Registration forms for these programs, along with pricing can be found on each Elementary School's eBoard.
JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL OPENING WEEK INFORMATION:

8:00 a.m. 7th grade report to Gym
8th grade report to individual homerooms
9-12th grade report to individual homerooms
Lunch is not provided and dismissal is at 12:22 p.m.
Thursday, September 8, 2016, is a half-day session with dismissal at 12:22 p.m.
Friday, September 9, 2016, is a full day session with all students reporting at 8:00 a.m. and being dismissed at 2:42 p.m.
The Jr./Sr. High School will not be open prior to 7:15 a.m. throughout the school year. Early student drop off takes place between 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Students who arrive at that time must report to the Jr./Sr. High School Cafeteria.

Board of Education Meeting
The regular Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in the Seventh Avenue School Multi-Purpose Room.
Class of 2017 Senior Portraits
You will receive in the mail a postcard with your appointment date and time from Prestige Portraits. If you cannot make this appointment, you MUST contact them to change your appointment. They can be reached at 1-800-687-9327. The High School does not arrange the appointment date and time for your initial portrait session.
The Haddon Heights School District Grounds Department will be applying fertilizer and herbicide to the lawns and playing fields during the month of May. The application(s) will take place on weekends (weather permitting). Information and M.S.D.S. materials may be obtained by contacting me at the Administration Building located at:
